I just had good a look at the inside of my microwave. I think it's time I gave it a bit of a clean :~|

*huggles phobesmum for giving us such great Sports Night fic like A Sweet Disorder that she wrote for the picfor1000 challenge*

I went to see Good Night, and Good Luck tonight and I have to say it's one of the best movies I've seen in a long while. George Clooney has done a wonderful job in bringing alive and era that wasn't as sweet and innocent as we'd all like to think it was, and presenting us with a message that is just as relevant today as it was then. I certainly hope both he and David Strathairn at least get nominated for the work they have produced here, and I would also like to see the actor who played Don Hollenbeck get some recognition for all the emotion he brought to his few scenes.

I must now go to bed.

David Strathairn needs more recognition any day of the week. All the best actors seem to live lives of obscurity. Of course, some of them still manage to make the occasional good movie. Others, and I name no names here, don't.
