Is it wrong that I want fish and chips and beer for dinner tonight?
Season four of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is finally mine! I went up to Northcote Plaza today to buy moisturiser and to beat the heat and I found the illusive season four box set at K-Mart. And best of all, it was on sale so I saved $15! Obviously the wait was meant to be.
*wins at life \L/*
All of a sudden Sunday is a good night for TV with Ugly Betty premiering on channel seven, followed by Grey's Anatomy at 8.30. As well as all that I still have last night's West Wing to watch and I taped How to Steal a Million with Audrey Hepburn when I went out this afternoon. Along with my current Sex and the City marathon and my new Buffy DVDs, I am suddenly very spoiled for choice when it comes to entertainment.
Can someone please tell me why Britney Spears has shaved her head? It's intriguing, yet I can't be bothered googling the reason at this point in time.

Yay for discounts!
I couldn't get into Ugly Betty (cannot see in what way it differs from Less Than Perfect, for one thing), but I've been watching the first season of Grey's Anatomy on DVD - I am hopeless at watching shows on the telly these days - and enjoying it, though not fannishly. It's glossy and entertaining and full of pretty people - Sandra Oh is my #3 girlcrush, after Patricia Clarkson and allthewomenfromFirefly - and moves at such a pace that the episodes seem much shorter than they actually are, which is a good thing. No time to get bored! But only the first season's out, so I'll have to wait for the rest. On the other hand, S2 of Rescue Me's been released now, so at least I have something on my rental list. Other than lots and lots of gay films, which can be a bit hit and miss. In many ways.
Can't help you with Britneeee.

I quite enjoyed Ugly Betty and will give it a go. We never really saw Less Than perfect over here (not unless you were home at two in the afternoon on a week day, which I rarely am) so I can't really compare. I find that Grey's gets very drippy on occasion, but will watch it if home at the time, and last night I found myself riveted by CSI for the first time in ages. Not sure what's going on there.
I do believe all the carousing has finally driven Brit a wee bit batty. That's really the only explanation I can give.
