states of confusion

I just ordered the first season of Supernatural from amazon and I've been reading fic all evening. I think I'm becoming slightly obsessed. Could it be that I have a new fandom?

I blame it all on Jensen Ackles. Why does he have to be so cute and Dean such a woobie?

ETA: Oh god, now I need icons!

Dean is so hot. Dean makes me do crazy things, like buy tickets to see Jensen Ackles performing in Dallas, Texas in the Broadway version of A Few Good Men. Dean makes me watch Dark Angel to see how hot Jensen was before he was Dean and try and figure out how he got hotter just by playing Dean.

I've been teetering on the edge of the fandom for a while, but not really paying much attention until the other day when Dean's supreme woobiness finally hit home. Not sure that I'd put myself through watching Dark Angel for him just yet, but it's close and the presence of Callum in one of the eps is very enticing.

I don't mind it as long as it's not too full on. I kinda like the boys being intimate with each other, but my squick factor when it comes to anything more hard core is still a bit fragile. I'm sure I'll get over it, though.

I really didn't need a new fandom at the moment. I have homework!!!

I suspect it was the freckles that got to me the most, being a fellow spotty person myself. That and the sheer woobiness that is Dean. He's so pretty when he's being all angsty.

Oooh, another late convert to the Jen bandwagon. My friend had been telling me ages how cute he was but it wasn't until I started watching Supernatural that I really saw it. Now everytime I see him I am just gobsmacked by how Goddamn pretty he is, and I just can't resist the pretty.

Yay! I love it when old friends join me in new fandoms! I have a ton of stuff saved on my del.ici.ous if you somehow run out of stuff to read. Not bloody likely, I know, because it's the fandom that ate the world, but just in case: stories, story archives, including ljs with tons of stories by good authors and other people's recs.
