GAH!

My essay is driving me insane, work has morphed into this weird limbo state while I wait to go on leave for two weeks before I start my new job, work colleague is driving me insane with his incessant outrage at just how f**d up the place is, even though we already know that thankyouverymuch!, and I've developed this odd obsession with Jensen Ackles' freckles and the scar on his chin.

Also, I'm trying to write this fic and I keep getting distracted by homework. Shouldn't it be the other way 'round?

About the only sane thing in my life at the moment is the fic that's being generated by [livejournal.com profile] sn_playbook and the knowledge that in ten days this degree will be toast. Oh, and the Riva coffee commercial which I find wonderfully daggy in the extreme.

At least I didn't find any more traces of Mousey Mousey when I got home tonight, which is something I suppose.

I got a new job! I'm now the ILL Coordinator at my work, or at least I will be from July 9th. It's all very exciting and I'd be whooping it up all over the place if I didn't have to write one final essay for my master's :~(

Since I am obsessed by the large round scar on weeJosh's forehead - it looks to me as if he had a huge zit when he was 14 or so that he kept picking at - I am in no position to criticise.

However, I have to admit that the fic [livejournal.com profile] soupytwist posted today was very, very good, and made up for the sad lack of fic in recent weeks. All my favourite writers seem to have just ground to a halt, which would be sad enough, but no-one's stepped up to replace them, and that's sadder yet.

There's been a few good last minute fics come through today, which certainly kept me going during a deadly-dull desk shift.

I love the scar on wee!Josh's cheek. It would seem he got into a few scrapes when he really was wee.

There was another really good fic today, too, by a writer who's only written a drabble in the canon before - so (a) hurrah! and (b) I must remember to bookmark it in case I get called up for recs again. And just to reread.

Ahh, the scar on weeJosh's cheek. Of course, I know that that's where Dan's dad slapped him, but that's just me. WeenyweeJosh probably fell off a skateboard, or something equally mundane.
