BWF: ...I stayed home and watched trashy TV last. That Jennifer Love Hewitt show and then the Bionic Woman...
ME: [Pricks up ears] Bionic Woman? OMG, my favourite obscure Canadian actor was in last night's episode!
BWF: Who's that?
Me: Callum Keith Rennie. He played the bad guy.
BWF: He was really cute!
Me: *beams*

There ya go, validation. (Is CKR obscure? I suppose it depends on the people you hang around with.)

He's very obscure outside of Canada (and fandom), I'd say. Certainly none of my real life friends had heard of him until I joined the ranks of the drooling CKR fangirls. So I guess that's validation, of a kind.

I didn't know he was going to be on there (and I gave up on that show very early on)! I'll have to try to catch a rerun somewhere.

I had no idea he was on it until

scriggle mentioned it in her journal and I just happened to be catching up with my flist. I've not watched the show at all, it's almost too bad even for my trash TV tastes!

How did I not know this ahead of time? I think his imdb credits haven't been updated in quite a while.

I don;t think it appeared in his IMDB profile until the day he was on. I really feel he should give people a little bit more warning about these stealth guest sports, how are we supposed to plan ahead if he doesn't!?

Now I am really upset; I count on my TiVo to catch this sort of thing. But it didn't, so I missed it. I wonder if it is on iTunes?
