So much for all the cozy sleeps-in I was planning for my time off. Every morning at 7.30 on the dot the guys building the house next door start up with the engines and power saws and OMG, is that someone faking an orgasm????

Yes, so, I'm a bit sleep deprived at the moment.

My Supernatural DVDs have shipped! My Supernatural DVDs have shipped! My Supernatural DVDs have shipped! OMG, I'm so excited!!!!

*bounces with glee*

Speaking of SPN, I've been submerged in J2 fic lately, and apparently Jensen made quite a splash when he visited Sydney earlier this year because he was recently voted one of the most f...able people on Australian TV. Australians have great taste, woot!

Oh, and I may have pimped a RL friend into Slings & Arrows yesterday. I noticed that it's starting on pay TV over here and texted A, telling him he had to watch it because it's fabulous. He said he was looking for a new obsession so I'm hoping that he found the joy as easily as the rest of us did. How can anyone resist Geoffrey loudly stating that he has fixed the toilet then sliding effortlessly into a Shakespearean soliloquy using a plunger as a prop?

The wee!Josh-a-like was at gym again today. He has very nice arms, although his ankles are a bit chunky. It's the second time I've seen him at the lunchtime mark so that's probably when he tends to go. I'll be back to doing the gym thing after work next week so I may not see him again, but it's been nice while it lasted. Maybe one day he'll need an interlibrary loan!

I'm off to the old home town for a few days tomorrow. I will be taking my laptop and so I'll be around on and off. I'll catch y'all on the flip side, okay?

Noise should be banned in the mornings. Especially at weekends, when my idea of bliss is to wake up around the usual time (because I can't help it - except for during the week, when I frequently sleep through the radio alarm), get up and make a cup of coffee, do a quick clean of the litter tray and put down food for the cats, then go back to bed and (1) read, (2) do crosswords and/or sudoku, (3) listen to Sounds of the 60s on teh radio, (4) cuddle the kittehs and (5) nap, off and on, until early afternoon. Sometimes late afternoon. Mmmmmm. Sleeeeeeep ...

It will be sad to say farewell to the weeJoshalike, but perhaps it's for the best. Could he have lived up to the real thing, with his chunky ankles?

Enjoy the old home town, and the family!

I've looked up the local bylaw and legally they're allowed to start work at 7.30am on a weekday because presumably most people are getting ready to go to work by then. Of course it doesn't take into account those of us who are on holiday and want to sleep in until 9am!

And my thing is, once I'm awake, I'm awake and I have to get out of bed. I rarely nap and I actually dislike reading in bed unless it's right before I turn out the light, so I'm only really in there to sleep and I can't sleep if there's a frigging cherry picker backing up with accompanying 'beep beep beep' right out side my bedroom window!

At least if you are off to the old home town, hopefully you can get some sleep there.

Yay for Slings & Arrows pimpage! Always a good thing.

Have fun at home. Or, since I am probably late, I hope you had fun at home...

Alas the S&S pimpage didn't quite work out because his cable package doesn't include the network it's screening on. I'll just have to try some other way.

I slept in until 11.30 today, but I've picked up a bit of a cold and I'm feeling a bit yucky. Not looking forward to driving home tomorrow, not when my sinuses feel like they're about to explode!
