i did what???

Good God, I just put my name down for the [livejournal.com profile] picfor1000 writing challenge. I never do challenges because I'm not sure that inspiration will strike long enough for me to complete an actual story.

What was I thinking???

it is written

I've just finished posting all of my Llama Saga stories to [livejournal.com profile] snarchive, so my next project is is to post all of the stand alone stories, and then tackle my 60+ drabbles.

Of course all this really does is emphasize the fact that I really don't write much any more. It's not through lack of trying, I just don't seem to have the creative urge. Work and school have pretty much sucked the life out of my artistic side, especially this year, and even though I want to, I just can't seem to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and have anything vaguely coherent come out.

I really hope this doesn't last. Of all the things in my life, writing is one that I enjoy more than most and to not be able to write at all is just more than I care to contemplate.

Something new...

I've decided I need to find a new fandom to write in. Don't get me wrong, I love and adore Sports Night to death, I've just written Dan and Casey so much over the last six months I'm starting to feel a little burned out. Writers block, as Dan would say, only I don't have a Natalie around to throw water in my face. Also, I'm worried that if I don't give myself a break, I may never write them again (like I have with my other fandoms that come and gone) so I want to temper the creativity with something new. Just gotta find one now.
