See above? That's my new motto. At least I want it to be. Time will tell if I'm able to live up to it.
phoebesmum, thank you for the e-card, it was lovely!
I spent the day being cultural at the Black in Fashion exhibition at the National Gallery Victoria. I was in fashion heaven, especailly when confronted with the Dior cocktail dress. OMG! There is also a Chanel suit on display that came from one of the collections at my work, and when it comes back I'm going to force best work friend to let me fondle it for a while before she puts it back into storage ;~)
Supernatural was on the agenda when I finally got home, and I can totally see why that particular episode had the fans divided. It was a fun episode, if a little self conscious, and I loved how when Sam and Dean finally came on the scene it was like we'd walked into the middle of them arguing. That they both have total potty mouths comes as absolutely no surprise, and the way they gave Ed and Harry their (well deserved) comeuppance was geekily fantastic. I loved how Dean was all Sam! Sam! Sammy! when Sam had disappeared, and the MOTW was suitably creepy. But I did get a little bored with all the set-up stuff in the beginning and thought they could have brought the boys into it sooner. Ed and Harry are still devious little rats and I actually hope we get to see them at least once more so they can really get the pants scared off of them!
OMG, how long is it before the next episode???
After dinner tonight I did a spot of sewing, however I've come to the conclusion that this current dress is not going to work and I should scrap it now before I get in too deep. Sure it's a waste of materials, but I've had sewing disasters before and as it is this dress simply will not work so I need to acknowledge that and move on.
I should go to bed. I have a meeting first thing and I need my beauty sleep after a hectic weekend. And yet...
