OMG, so full!

My brother took me out for my birthday dinner tonight because he has to go away on Friday and can't join in the family celebration in the old home town. We went to this little Vietnamese place in Smith Street and the food was just great. I had chicken with lemongrass and chilli and coconut rice, and he had crispy beef with plum sauce and sesame. I think it was the best chicken with lemongrass and chilli that I have ever eaten, and J's beef was nothing to sneeze at either.

Afterwards we went back to my flat where he presents me with a chocolate cake. My brother, the electrician who can barely cook himself dinner made me a chocolate cake for my birthday. Can anyone saw awwwwww? And it was fantastic. He found this recipe for red wine chocolate cake and he made it, filled it with cream and frosted it with chocolate ganache and gave it to me for my birthday. Isn't he the bestest brother?

But now I'm so full of cake and chicken and rice and beef I think I'm going to explode!

When my West Wing DVDs arrived I started watching them from the beginning, but yesterday I changed my mind and have been finishing off the seventh season instead. I'm half way through Election Day and even though I know what's going to happen, the suspense is killing me. But at least Josh and Donna finally got it on *g*

After my rambling about the state of the Sports Night fandom the other day, [livejournal.com profile] celli started an SN friending meme in her journal. Go fill it out and tell the world why you love Sports Night.

Oh noes, Annabeth just went looking for Leo. Oh noes!!!!!

ETA: And for the second time in two days The West Wing just made me cry.
