After my weekend of drunken debauchery and Chinese food, I forced myself to go to gym after work, only my heart wasn't really in it. I only did twenty minutes on the crosstrainer, and completely forgot to do chestpresses. The CKR look-a-like was there, which is always heartening, but he left about half an hour after I arrived and there was an odd smell around the heavy weights area. I'll try again on Wednesday.
There's been some interesting discussion going on over at my Does Jeremy Read Fanfiction? poll. Most people agree that Jeremy would have fanish tendencies, what with him being a giant nerd and all, but they're uncertain about the fanfic thing. I started out thinking that yes, he would read it, but have since revised my thoughts. He'd probably run a fan site (as per
quiesce) and
hyperfocused made the astute observation that his sister is a slasher (Natalie too, according to
aprilmay430) and that Louise routinely tortures him by sending him links to Dan/Casey slash fic.
phoebesmum pointed out that he'd definitely be a chess nerd, and of course we all know how much he enjoys poker, while
mardia has him inadvertently destroying a laptop after he finds a choice bit of SN fic on the web.
Ah, good times *g*
When I got home I watched the commentary version of What Is And What Should Never Be while I did some sewing. Good god, Eric Kripke is such a Jensen Ackles fangirl! It'd be almost terrifying if it weren't so amusing. I have to say, though, he does a good commentary track and is up there with Joss Whedon (whom he clearly admires) as far as insight and thought-provoking observations about the television making process. I want season three, now!
You'll be proud of me. Tonight I did my dishes immediately after dinner instead of letting them build up for a day or six like I normally do. It only took about five minutes and why do I always let them sit for so long? It's so much simpler when I clear them sooner rather tahn later.
Oh, lord, is that the time? Why aren't I in bed?

I ask myself the same question! I don't really need to be googling lace doilies at this time of the night, and yet.
(I think it's because this is the only time of the day I feel completely free to do stuff - there's nothing I should be doing right now except sleep, and I don't feel guilty for taking time away from sleeping.)
