I have aspirin! I also have TP, Ferrero Rocher, Diet Coke to have with the fish and chips I plan to buy for dinner and mi goreng ramen, which is just the ticket for that queasy, morning after the night before stomach.

My viewing of The West Wing continues apace. I've just finished watching Somebody's Going to Emergency, Somebody's Going to Jail and I'd completely forgotten what a great episode it is. Rob Lowe was just so tremendous in this ep with his quiet disappointment in his father and his need to do something good for someone just to feel like his whole world isn't going to hell in a handbasket. And then when he realises that Stephanie's grandfather really was a spy and that pardoning him is just not possible, all his rage and sorrow and anger about his father and his inability to help is palpable. I don't think I could love Sam any more than I do right now after watching that episode, not at all.

I have this desire to make a huge, gooey chocolate cake and eat it all of it all by myself. I'm not going to but that doesn't mean I don't want to.

BTW, would anyone be interested in a Sports Night viewing party for the weekend after next? I had promised to do one in January, but obviously it didn't happen, however there's no reason why we can't have one in February.

Anyone? Beuller?

Argh - I'd love to, but that Saturday we're going to Birmingham to watch the athletics :-( I'm having to miss John Barrowman signing his autobiography at Borders that afternoon too...
