My first day back at work was not unpleasant. Having to get up at 7.30 when I'd gotten used to sleeping in until nine was a bit of a shock to the system, but I got over that, especailly when I got to work and found the 'Welcome Back Glorious Leader!' sign the troops had made for me on my PC. It really made my day and I hope they don't take it back after we've done the performance reviews later in the week.
In more amusing news, at the brother-in-law's party on the weekend, one of my sister's friends thought that best work friend and I were a couple! I'm not quite sure how she got hold of that particular stick, but we've been laughing about it ever since because M probably had to work up a lot of courage to say something. Then we went and crushed her by proclaiming our enduring heterosexuality. I even have a date on Wednesday!
Supernatural is killing me right now. Really, it is. The rift between Sam and Dean is just, so gah! and DTs Sam is not a pretty sight. Ruby is such a bitch, but then again Castiel is also being pretty bitchy at the moment. Bobby, however, is awesome, which is just how it should be.
All of a sudden I am either very hungry or very tired. Bit of both, I think. Maybe I'll have some hot chocolate an go to bed.

I'm still on my Supernautral kick myself. viewing the dvd's from the begining AGAIN while knitting this http://www.elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=227024
for Daughter-type. It's done in black since that's all she'll wear and loads of fun because it combines knitting and crocheting, which I really suck at.
Anyway, the point, although it got seriously lost there for a bit, is I'm NOT reading anything about Sam and Dean yet cause I don't want spoilers. Ugh, can't wait for the next season to come out. I promise I'll get a recording device so I can stay current with THIS year's shows.
Really. I mean it this time.

I can't wait for the new season to start, although I am at the mercy of the Australian TV programmers and probably won't get to see it until next year. But I'm such a spoiler whore I'll be trawling for transcripts as soon as the first episode is screened :~)

I'm with you on the crocheting=boring thing. But the little bit that's on this one goes very fast with all that open work at the begining. The ruffle is a little more complicated and requires a bit more attention. I've already made one for a friend last Christmas and it went very fast.

I'm glad your first day back had at least some good points. Getting over the culture shock of the back-to-work thing is the big hurdle - well, that, and seeing what state your desk's in after you've been away.
