I'm feeling a bit poorly today so I've taken the day off work. Sort of, if checking one's work email at home while wearing pyjamas counts as work. Mostly I've just been sitting on the couch, watching the 'educational' programs on ABC, reading Supernatural fic, laughing at the idiocy of the SPN board at IMDB and trawling around looking at reports of Jared's recent visit to down under (question: is his 'I lost my undies' face as cute as his 'I lost my shoe' face? One would like to think so *g*)

I must to be getting dressed, though. I have to get a few things at the supermarket, and now I have shes on my mind. Just to look at, mind you. Not to buy. Well, maybe not to buy...

Don't you just hate it when you read a fic written by a favourite author that, while just as well written as all of their other stuff, kinda of vaguely squicks you out?

Yeah, I just had one of those moments.

No nude men today, but I did manage a drabble of sn100, something which combines two of my favourite things: Sports Night and shoes!

Speaking of shoes, I showed great restraint today and did not buy the cute blue heels that were marked down from $179 to $89, nor did I buy the $300 dress I tried on a Black Orange. Remarkable restraint, says I, especially when my latest credit card account is taken into consideration. Thank god I'm getting my tax done next week :~\

Normally I like winter, but I'm so over it at the moment. I really want summer to start so I can wear my frocks and cute shoes and not have to contend with tights any more. Of course that would mean having to wax my legs more often, but I'm willing to put up with the pain in exchnage for a few nice days!

I think I'll have Vegemite toast for breakfast tomorrow.

My lunch attacked me today. Some how I ended up with a splodge of beetroot juice on my jeans and tahini on my top. Not bad for a vegan tofu burger from the whole foods co-op at work.

I suspect I bit off more than I can chew when I asked for fic prompts last night, especially with an assignment due in less than two weeks. I will endeavor to provide, but please forgive me if they are a little slow in coming. For some reason my lecturer would prefer that I work on my records disposal authority than write Dan/Casey slash. Go figure. But I do have three hours of reference desk tomorrow, so I hopefully I will be able to make good use of my time ;~)

I seem to have developed a crush on one of the guys in my yoga class. He's very tall and somewhat younger than me, but he's also quite bendy and he snickered at my 'Blanket Nazi'¹ joke this evening, and when we were packing up he came up and asked me how long I'd been taking the class. I wonder if he'll be there next week?

*big eyes*

I was all set and ready to order pizza when I got home tonight because I was so not in the mood to cook, but do you think I could get anyone to answer the phone at my favourite pizza shop? I tried about four times and let the phone ring out twice, so either they're really busy or really closed. I gave up in the end and went with some soup that had been lurking around in my freezer for God knows how long and wholemeal date scones for dinner. The scones were fresh so they were okay and really very yummy, but I hope the soup doesn't come back to bite me.

Only got four hours sleep last night. Must go to bed.



¹Our instructor is a lovely person but a stickler for a neatly folded blanket. Sometimes she reminds me so much of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld that it's almost scary!
