I had one of those weekends where I basically wasn't home at all. The result being that I am hopelessly behind on my flist and and I also have a huge mound of housework that needs doing. But at least I've done my dishes! Now I just need to find time to fold my laundry, dust and vacuum the living room, clean the bathroom and sort through my kitchen cupboards. I lead such an exciting life, don't I?

[livejournal.com profile] in_the_bottle, I got your text and totally failed to get back to you. I'm so sorry, but I see you're going where I went anyway *g*

I have three of the last four episodes of Supernatural on my flash drive at the moment, but I don't want to watch them until I have the last one and can binge. I must to be going over to C's house on my way home tonight to get the last episode, because I need my Sam and Dean!!!

I've decided that this week I have to very fiscally responsible. I'm appalled at the ridiculous amount of money I spent on the weekend with not much to show for it except a hangover on Sunday. So instead of walking up to Lygon street on my lunch break, where I would probably put things on lay-by at Ojay and Country Road (not to mention the twin temptations of Midas and Nine West) I went over to the student union. And instead of going to the book sale in the Grand Dining Room, where I would no doubt spend the money I didn't use to buy shoes on books, I walked up the stairs to the Rowden White Library where I borrowed books and browsed through the latest edition of UK Vogue. I wonder how long this will last?

Gah, one of my staff rang in sick and now I have to work until six instead of schlepping off to gym at five like I'd planned to. I'll still go to gym, but only do a short program so I'm not having dinner at 9pm. At least someone else was able to pick up my desk shift so I didn't have to cover the entire afternoon on my own. That would have really sucked!

Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] storydivagirl, for the fireworks, they're lovely!

I'm in the old home town, listening to my mother phaff in the kitchen and wondering if I should have a shower. I do need to zoom into town to see if Big W is open so I can exchange the DVD I bought yesterday for one that doesn't start skipping after the first twenty minutes, and then we're doing a combined Easter/birthday lunch at my sister's house. Mmmm, roast potatoes!

Yesterday Z officially stopped being a baby when she graduated to sitting in a booster seat at the table to eat her meals. She still gets tomato sauce all over the place, but she's not in the highchair anymore so she is now officially a Big Girl. Meanwhile M is getting cuter and cuter each day and F is so dryly funny I'm certain he's going to become a comedian or something. I love my kids!

Last night my brother made me a very interesting offer that may have serious impact on my financial situation. It's a good offer and one worth considering, so I guess I'll be making an appointment with the financial adviser with the credit union at work when I get home next week. But it's also a very grown-up thing to consider and I'm not sure I'm ready to be an adult just yet!

Supernatural Media have a new Legacy update with three as yet unseen promo shots of Jensen from season two. I think they just may my ovaries asplode! There's also several new Sports Night stories over at the Purim Treat-a-thon to enjoy, and the latest [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction challenge has been very good indeed. Then of course there's Paul Gross. Nuff said. What a great week for fandom!

I'm off on my big Perth adventure tomorrow, woohoo! I'll be incommunicado until I get home next Sunday, so everyone be good, eh? And if you can't be good, don't forget to tell us all about it in lurid detail ;~)
